The Verdict Ridge golf course has attracted such events as the US Open Qualifying, Carolina's Mid-Am Qualifying, NC Four Ball Championship and The Carolina Am.

The golf course at Verdict Ridge Golf and Country Club was designed in the tradition of other famous North Carolina courses, while maintaining the natural layout of the land.  Forbes Magazine once recognized Verdict Ridge in an article about golfing value and GolfStyles Magazine has listed Verdict Ridge among it's "top 100 Must Play Courses in the Carolinas."

Aside from the acclaim, what truly makes Verdict Ridge interesting is that our golf course feel is similar to a cross-state drive through NC. You can actually see different areas of the state represented as your round progresses across the 510 acre property. The first few holes give the feel of Pinehurst as the area pine trees outline each hole. As you continue to the low-lying areas of the property, you find holes that meander along creeks, streams, and natural wetlands, giving a North Carolina coastal feel. Finally, as you come to the last four holes, you will experience dramatic elevation changes and spectacular views. The cart path rides like the Blue Ridge Parkway, and you will feel as though you are in the North Carolina mountains.

With those kinds of credentials, you will find a course that always challenges the golfer to improve his or her game. With five sets of tees on each hole, every golfer can play to their individual skill level. The greens are large in size and offer several pin locations on each hole.
